I’ve spent 15+ years buying and renovating houses right here in Metro East Illinois — St. Clair and Madison County, from Belleville and O’Fallon to Granite City and Alton. I live here. I still own and manage rental properties in Granite City today, which means I don’t just buy houses in this market — I keep them, maintain them, and answer to tenants in them. When I tell you what a house needs and what it’s worth, that comes from doing the work in these exact neighborhoods, not from a spreadsheet in another state.
